Summary:
We are currently looking for Loan Officer Assistant to join our team.
This role will be responsible for assisting Loan Officers with managing, updating and correcting data related to new loan applications.
This role will work with the Loan Officers and borrowers to obtain and prepare accurate cost estimates, manage the loan process, and ensure timely and correct documentation.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Process pre-qualification request by pulling credit and running AUSAfter application and at the direction of the loan officer, verify information with respect to the applicant's income, assets, investments, debt, credit history, prior bankruptcies, judgments, and liens, as well as characteristics of the property.
Assist in creating Pre-qualification Letters, Notices of Incomplete or Adverse Action submissions.
Assist sales in gathering needed documents from applicants.
Assist in area coverage for weekend support.
Assist loan officers and management in sales pipeline management.
Attend grand openings as required by the Regional Manager.
Assist loan officer in customer follow up during the loan process.
Meet with direct report monthly for evaluation and plan for growth.
Conduct a monthly one on one meeting with at least one loan officer quarterly for shadowing and mentoring.
Attend/Participate in seminars and training as directed by the Regional Production Manager / Branch ManagerPerform all other duties at the direction of the Regional Production Manager / Branch Manager.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of mortgage experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Preferred to be licensed MLO in the State of California, but not required.
Must be a self-starter and self-motivated to meet job expectations and goals.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
Possess superior customer service skills.
Must be organized and responsible and able to use good judgment.
Ability to learn and operate technical systems and programs quickly.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
