SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties:
1) Applying principles, practices, and techniques applicable to fire protection elements involving fire prevention, aircraft, structural, ordinance and shipboard firefighting; 2) Training personnel in fire protection and prevention; and 3) Managing a hazardous materials protection and control program (i.e., knowledge of hazardous materials used; development of contingency plan; deployment of vehicles with specialized equipment, etc.). This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications; Firefighter I & II,Fire Officer III, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, Hazardous Materials Incident Commander, and Airport Firefighter. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
