The Wilbur-Ellis Facility is primarily involved in the mixing, processing, and transferring of animal feed ingredients.
We're seeking a Plant Operator to assist in all aspects of plant production, quality control, maintenance, and facility cleanliness.
This is a temporary position - May through July Key Skills and Abilities Include:
Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience requiredWillingness to operate material handling equipment including a forklift, skid steer, and other equipment as requiredAbility to repetitively lift packages up to 50Lb.
(or 110Lb.
with a partner) while working in a non-climate controlled dusty environmentGood math and organizational skillsAble to follow written and verbal directions and complete necessary documentation.
The ability to read and write English is requiredWilling to work overtime hours as needed Key Personal Attributes Include:
Driven; self-motivatedCustomer-focused Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:
Learn and train all roles required at the plant (mixing, bagging, forklift, container loading, etc.
)Operate and maintain processing equipment as outlined in SOP'sMaintain facility cleanliness throughout all operationsPerform Quality Control while handling productsAccurately document tasks performed (processing, maintenance, cleaning, etc.
