An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as a Permanent Food Safety and Quality Manager.
This role is a key player in our manufacturing industry, where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products.
You will be the guardian of our reputation, ensuring that we meet and exceed all regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
As a Food Safety and Quality Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive food safety and quality management system that meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
2.
Monitoring and ensuring the compliance of all food safety and quality standards, regulations, and procedures.
3.
Identifying and managing potential risks to food safety and quality, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
4.
Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
5.
Leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest levels of performance.
6.
Working closely with production and operations teams to ensure the highest quality of products.
7.
Managing customer complaints and feedback, ensuring swift resolution and continuous improvement.
8.
Keeping up-to-date with latest industry developments and regulatory changes, and ensuring these are communicated and implemented within the organization.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
2.
Strong knowledge of food safety management, quality assurance, quality control, and food processing.
3.
Proven experience in developing and implementing food safety and quality management systems.
4.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
5.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
6.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7.
A degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
8.
Certification in food safety management or quality assurance would be highly advantageous.
