The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Human Resources, Payroll, and Accounting, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and efficient process management.
While experience in the hotel industry is encouraged, it is not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate employee onboarding processes.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Address employee queries and provide support in HR-related matters.
Payroll:
Process and manage bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, benefits administration, and other payroll-related tasks.
Experience in payroll systems (ex.
ADP, Paychex, Paycom, etc.
) Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile payroll transactions.
Accounting:
Assist with general accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Creation of revenue reports, forecast, and other financial information relevant to the company.
Collaborate with the finance team for month-end and year-end close procedures.
Administration:
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including document preparation, data entry, and file maintenance.
Coordinate and organize HR-related events or training sessions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Human Resources Administration Specialist with a focus on HR, Payroll, and Accounting.
Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Previous experience in the hotel industry.
Knowledge of payroll software and accounting systems.
